This hand wrapped Rosary has been made using carnelian Hail Mary Beads, onyx Pater Noster's and a celtic style tibetan silver Cross.
This was a Unique Rosary!
These hand wrapped Rosary beads have been made using the hand wrapping technique, to create a strong, beautiful, durable Rosary.
The hand wrapping technique was the traditional method of Rosary making before eye pins and string became a more widely used method. As a result very few people use the hand wrapped wire technique to create Rosaries anymore.
Using this technique each bead is individually wrapped using wire wound and rewound around itself to create a beautiful and secure fastening for the beads, each bead is then individually linked to the next bead using the same method and for this full Rosary the process has been repeated 59 times and back wire wrapping has been used to attach the centrepiece and Christi. This intricate method creates an heirloom quality and allows Rosary beads that you can trust not to break over time.
"The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description." - Archbishop Fulton Sheen
