    Posted on

If you follow us on social media, you may have noticed some excitement a few weeks ago on instagram and facebook! Beads with Faith have been looking for someone to help us with artwork for a VERY long time ... I love to create Rosary Beads and Chaplets and can draw a little - but wanted drawings that were new and of a great standard to include in our resources for schools and individuals - I have spoken to many people but we never found the right fit!

Then. Lo and behold I come across a wonderful artist on instagram - Drawing the Faith with Mary - I was blown away and I hope you are too :)

  2. Interview With .. Dr Brian Kiczek

    Posted on

I met Dr Brian Kiczek through our mutual love of Jesus, on social media! - hilariously i have been following the Power of the Rosary for a long time but it was their dolls from Heaven project which started as an awesome way to bring the 'Little Way' of Saint Therese and now has further plans for more 'Dolls from Heaven!' I had no idea how many projects this beautiful family have on the go! Here are some questions The Rosary Doctor, Dr Brian KIczek answered in our email interview!

    1.       The Dolls from Heaven project is beautiful tell us a bit about the project and what inspired it ?

My family has always loved dolls and we have built up quite a collection.  On a long family trip stuck in traffic after our Rosary we started talking about how there was no saint dolls out there.  Within a couple of hours of excited discussion we realized that God might be calling us to such a work and we had our first few dolls mapped out in our head.  About less than a year later we were finally ready to start our company with the first doll Therese Praise Jesus!

    2.       what is the response like to the dolls, i think they are beautiful and could certainly get a conversation started!

So far the response has been tremendous, everyone loves the dolls and are getting sometimes multiple orders from the same family.  God is certainly on the move with this project!

    3.       You and your family have a beautiful devotion to the Rosary and desire to encourage the whole world to pray the Rosary - how did this desire come to you ?

Well with all things you have to start with yourself.  Being away from God for so long I was searching for the truth the Rosary was a major part of my keeping and spreading the faith. Here is full story of our return to the Truth.

  3. November - the Month of the Holy Souls

    Posted on

In the Catholic Church it is traditional that we pray throughout the month of November  for those who have gone before us, particularly  the Holy Souls in Purgatory. I’ve always explained the concept of purgatory as a waiting room for Heaven, where we are prepared to meet God and perfected in Holiness before Our Entry to Heaven. It is a cleansing of the soul to prepare you for the Kingdom of Heaven!

It is the Celebration of the Birth of Mary, Mother of Jesus on Tuesday. What a wonderful and beautiful celebration this is! I have already seen so many beautiful idea's both amongst my facebook friends and the internet as a whole! One page I absolutely adore is Catholic Icing please if you are a Catholic Parent or teacher go take a look at her page! Also we NEED some of her resources in the UK ....if anything it is a thoughtful and beautiful read and full of FABULOUS ideas!

Here is a Specific link to some craft ideas for Mary's Birthday!

At Beads with Faith we have had a great time creating some Classroom Rosaries, the ones we have made this time have been made for the class and will come with the opportunity for the teacher or children to create the image for their Crucifix  - this can then be hung on their Classroom wall, but is also bulky enough for infants to handle and to start to feel a Rosary, without there being a concern of breakage and swallowing!
